Dental Bridges

This treatment requires 1 visit and 3 appointments.

Missing teeth can cause more difficulties in speaking, getting food in the gaps, or the cosmetically overall appearance.  In long term, if the gaps are not somehow filled, it can also affect the next teeth to move towards the gaps. Over time, there will be a chain reaction for the other ones in the jaw. Dental bridges are great options if you have missing teeth.

As it is already within the name, gaps of the missing teeth are replaced with a false tooth, connected to the ones that are next to them. If not available, implants will be inserted to serve as anchors. Healthy teeth or implants, support the artificial ones in between.

Your Treatment Plan

This treatment requires 1 visit and 3 appointments.

Your 1st Appointment

Our expert dentists will make a detailed examination and take X-rays to determine if this treatment is the right one for you. They will discuss all your available options and explain the treatment process.

Under local anesthetic, a mold will be taken from the current gap of your missing teeth and the teeth on either side.

Then, your anchor teeth next to the gap will be shaved with the drill to the necessary size and form to fit the crowns. Once they are prepped, you will receive temporary crowns till the brand-new, customized real ones have been made in the lab.

2nd Appointment

Without bonding, the new bridge (which consists of 1 piece and with at least 3 connected crowns) will be placed in the area to see how your new smile will be. If necessary, adjustments will be made at this appointment like fitting and closing (biting), and to your liking.

3rd Appointment

On your last appointment, once our dentists and you are happy with the final look, your bridge/crowns will be bonded with a strong dental cement that will keep your new smile in place for a very long term.
